This video is so inspiring (found via Abby). I love the silence. I love the idea of creating your own subworld to protect you from the harsh and crazy world that we actually live in. It doesn’t mean you have to disconnect from the real world - just that you create a haven of comfort and love and peace for yourself. We started working on making our home more homey this weekend, and all day at work, I find that I just can’t wait to return to my lovely home. I would also like to cultivate a subworld of art for myself - I want to create something with my hands, and get lost in the process.
