This is interesting to me… if we were ever to settle down in one spot, we could buy a larger piece of land and build two or more houses on it. We’d each have our own house (Lindsay? Rachel? You in?), but we’d have the same shared space for a large garden, outdoor eating area… I’d still want my own kitchen and bathroom though. :) It’s such a fascinating idea… to grow old together so close to your friends… to have dinners together more often… to share the costs so you could have a pool, an outdoor grill/pizza oven, a beautiful patio.
