Realization.
Tonight I’m realizing that so many of the things I’ve wanted for my life I already have.
A record player.
A vintage radio.
Etsy art on the walls.
A cute, well-equipped kitchen.
Kitty cats.
A fun wardrobe.
A home in a safe neighborhood.
A gorgeous, caring husband.
To be involved in my city’s happenings… film festivals, holidays, restaurants.
A stable job.

I’m almost finished reading a library book, when, stuck between the pages of 216 and 217, I find a slip from a fortune cookie that reads, “Something wonderful is about to happen to you.”

mall kiosk guy
Today at lunch I was rushing through the mall, a woman on a mission, in search of the perfect black shoe. As I passed the kiosks in the center of the mall, I was assaulted by sales people…
